About Law Offices of Chavira Brown, PLLC Immigration / Criminal / Personal Injury / Family Attorneys at Law Damisela Chavira Brown is a native of the border city of El Paso, TX where she was exposed to the immigration situation on a daily basis. Working with the United States Catholic Conference since the age of 17, she learned the basics of immigration law and application processing. Damisela has a BA from the University of Texas at El Paso in Psychology and English and graduated from Barry University of Miami Lakes whose law school is in Orlando Florida. She is also a member of AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association), the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association as well as the Federal Bar Association, and is licensed to practice law in the Western District of Texas. Damisela is a single mom with five children with her oldest son a graduate from St Johns University and eldest daughter pursuing a career in Pathology. Having lived in San Antonio for more than 10 years, Damisela is also on the Blessed Sacrament Catholic School Council where her youngest children currently attend school.
